Your Business Could Be Exposed to Cyber Risks You Don't Know About.
Find Out in Minutes. Not Weeks.
We check the security settings across your Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and AWS accounts, then tell you in plain English what is wrong and how to fix it. No consultants, no long projects and no software to install.

A quick look at how CyberEssentia finds the cloud risks hiding in a small business.
Security assessment without the usual overheads
CyberEssentia was built for small businesses that need a clear answer quickly, not another long project.
No Expensive Consultants
You should not need to pay for a multi-day consultancy engagement just to find out where you are exposed. The assessment runs automatically and shows you each finding, why it matters and how to fix it.
No Lengthy Assessment Projects
No questionnaires to complete, no workshops to attend and no weeks of back-and-forth. Connect your accounts and your results are ready in minutes.
No Complicated Software Installations
There is nothing to download, deploy or maintain on your computers. CyberEssentia is a secure cloud service that connects to the accounts you choose, using read-only access.
What cyber risk actually looks like in a small business
Most incidents do not come from clever hacking. They come from a setting that was left switched off, an account nobody removed, or a file shared with the wrong link. These are the three issues we find most often.
MFA weaknesses
Multi-factor authentication is the second lock on the door. If it is missing for some staff, or only switched on for administrators, one stolen password is enough to reach email, files and finance systems.
We check whether MFA is enforced for every user, whether older sign-in methods still work, and whether admin accounts are properly protected.
Excessive permissions
When staff, suppliers or former employees have more access than their job needs, a single compromised account can reach everything. Accounts nobody closed are one of the easiest ways in.
We check administrator roles, guest and external accounts, and access that is broader than it should be.
Insecure cloud configuration
Cloud services are only as safe as their settings. File-sharing links open to anyone, storage exposed to the internet and logging switched off are easy to miss without looking.
We check file and storage sharing, public access, encryption settings and audit logging.
Three simple steps
From start to a clear set of answers, without a project plan.
Connect
Securely link the accounts you want checked, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or AWS. Access is read-only, so nothing in your environment is changed.
Discover
We review your configuration and compare it against recognised security baselines and compliance requirements.
Understand
You get a prioritised report written in plain English: what is wrong, why it matters to your business and how to fix it.
What the assessment covers, and what it does not
We would rather be clear about the boundaries up front. Here is exactly what your free security assessment looks at, and where its limits are.
Covered by the assessment
- Security settings and configuration for the cloud platforms you connect: Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Google Workspace, AWS and Microsoft Defender.
- Sign-in security, including MFA enforcement, administrator roles, legacy authentication and guest or external access.
- File and storage sharing, including public links, open cloud storage, encryption and retention settings.
- Audit logging and baseline configuration against recognised frameworks such as Cyber Essentials.
Not covered by the assessment
- This is a configuration review, not a penetration test. We do not attempt to break into your systems.
- It reviews only the accounts and platforms you choose to connect. Devices, on-premise servers and third-party applications are not included unless they are connected.
- Some checks depend on permissions, licences or APIs being available. Where a check cannot run, it is reported as not assessed rather than as passed.
- It is a point-in-time view of your settings when the assessment runs, not continuous monitoring, and it is not a guarantee that a breach will never happen.
- It does not provide legal, regulatory or insurance advice.
You stay in control of the connection. Access is read-only and you can disconnect a platform at any time.
